Contact Centre

Contact centres also called call centres are a way to communicate with businesses, organisations and home owners. A Contact Centre Apprenticeship are applicable to many different types of businesses across many different sectors. 

This is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK, with a wide range of job roles in many different sectors available. The key element to this apprenticeship is delivering excellent customer service making sure the customer has the best experience possible.

This apprenticeship will cover areas such as:

  • Sales
  • Account Management 
  • Public Service Advisor
  • Customer Service
  • Helpline

Some key skills you will learn are:

  • Delivering reliable Customer Service
  • Using various phone and computer systems
  • Being able to listen and communicate efficiently 
  • Solving various day-to-day customer problems
  • Working within a team 
  • Working in a fast-paced high pressured environment

To work within this industry you must have attention to detail, an excellent telephone manner, be friendly and approachable, well informed and be an excellent communicator.
