RM Training was established in 2008. The company was incorporated in September 2012 and has worked with major companies such as:- City & Guilds, Hi-Spec Services, Thames Ambulance Group, Private Ambulance Service, Hackney Council, Thurrock Council and London Youth. RM Training delivers Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Pre-Employment Training and various Tailor-Made Bespoke Courses. As a small independent training provider, our strengths include flexibility and adaptability we can respond quickly to our clients’ needs sourcing the resources required to meet their needs.
RM Training delivered Retail Apprenticeships as a contractor with City and Guilds on their ASDA contract in 2011/2013 in the South-East Region achieving a success rate of 88% for the region on a case load of over 400 apprentices. We have been a subcontractor with Northbrook college since 2014 to date and have exceeded profile in 2013/14, 2014/15 and exceeded our target for 2015/16, to date we have delivered approx 200 apprenticeships with a high overall success rate and well above the national average. RM Training deliver Higher Apprenticeships in business administration at Level 4 and ILM Management up to Level 5, we deliver a range of apprenticeships, i.e. Business Admin, Customer Service, Contact Centre, Estate Agency, Management, Retail, Sales, Team Leading, and Youth Work. We have delivered to large organisations but also focus on SME organisations. As part of a GLA Employer Led Apprenticeship Creation Programme we have created 59 apprenticeships in SME organisations in the GLA area across 16/18 and 19+age ranges.
We have delivered Employability qualifications to 900 young people between 2012/2014 in Partnership with COSPA/London Youth/Big Lottery and excess of 600 from June 2015 to date on the Volunteer it Yourself project in partnership with COSPA/NESTA, which is based on giving learners the opportunity to learn construction skills in carpentry, tiling, plumbing, and painting and decorating. We have had excellent results and seen several learners go onto apprenticeships, full time work or even starting their own business, learners achieve the C&G Award level 3 in Construction because of these workshops/courses.
Our USP’s are:- Flexibility and Adaptability, able to respond quickly to our clients’ needs by sourcing the resources required so to meet their needs. We have a highly trained and flexible workforce and all the team are experienced, managers, assessors and IQA’s. In 2016/2017 we are focusing on our ILM Management levels 2-5 with some x50 managers on these qualifications with a further x65 planned for 2017/18. Our other USP is the capability of delivering Youth Work L2 & L3 and currently have x15 learners on this qualification with a further x50 planned for 2017/18, as not many providers are offering this qualification we are keen to exploit this market place and have employed a dedicated member of staff to deal with this challenge. We are delivering these qualifications to local councils and we are in conversations with another x5 who have expressed interest. We are also marketing this to Youth Clubs in London, Essex and Kent are keen to do the same in Sussex.
